The House

rue Bombecul is a charming, one-bedroom, sunny house over 3 floors in the picturesque village of Magalas. It’s just a short stroll away from restaurants, bars, shops, the weekly market and a railway station (with daily services to main-line Bèziers station and twice-daily buses.).

Newly refurbished in 2015, there’s a fully-equipped modern kitchen, a cute and stylish sun-drenched courtyard with barbecue and a living area with TV/DVD. And to keep you super connected we’ve installed VDSL internet and a cellphone booster.

As the house has a steep approach it is not suitable for the elderly or immobile.

Lizzie and Ali, the owners of rue Bombecul, ran a hugely successful B&B in the area for ten years, so they know how to make you comfortable.

Ground floor

On the ground floor there is a fully equipped open plan kitchen and sitting room of 25m², complete with induction hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven + grill, sofa and TV/DVD.

A door from the sitting room leads into a completely private 10m² courtyard with chairs, table, and the cutest barbecue you’ve ever seen. We’ll even supply you with some charcoal to set you on your grilling way.

First floor
On the first floor you’ll find the bathroom with shower and washing machine. There’s a separate loo too. Also on this floor are table and chairs for those delicious suppers à deux.
Second floor

The next floor up is where you’ll find a double bedroom complete with walk-in wardrobe, dressing table and chairs.

On the lower ground floor, accessed from the outside or by a door fit for goblins, you’ll find the cellar where you can store your bikes if you decide to take a cycling holiday.
